STORY EXCERPT:

“To be able to breathe underwater. Wow. I’d probably be top of the swimming team. I’m a lousy swimmer though.” She stood there looking around at how empty the place was, “Is the place like this after 3? I mean is it always this desolate?”

“Yeah.”

“Good. I might come again if you would enjoy the company.”

He didn’t say anything. Taylor decided that it meant he wasn’t sure about this yet.

The letter began: Dear Beverly, I’m a lonely mail clerk who lives in this town. I fell in love with you one day when you sent out a package. There is something so phenomenally sweet about you.
